About us

What we're building.

Padel is the fastest-growing sport in the country, but the South West remains underserved. We're changing that. We built Racketside to bring high-quality courts to standout destinations across the region. Our vision is to make our sites a pleasure to visit, not just somewhere to book an hour.

Every Racketside site is built around the same model: high-quality courts, accessible to all ages, with coaching for every level from first-timers to competitive players. Great padel, in surroundings worth spending time in.

The founders

Who we are.

Racketside was founded by two friends who both grew up in the South West. What sets us apart is that we are a coaching-first operator. We bring over a decade of experience coaching and managing racket sports programmes and venues, and we're putting that into building padel in the region we know best.

Padel is a racket sport played in doubles on an enclosed court, a little smaller than a tennis court. The walls are in play, the scoring's the same as tennis, and it's easy to pick up — most people are rallying in their first session.
